As you walk out the room, you feel like you are the best, but in reality you are just not, all the knowledge, all the skill and all the things that had been put in you are just not the best, but some how you feel like, that is more then enough to make you the best, but in reality it just isn’t. You feel like, you have what it takes to be the best but when you think back, what is the reason that you are still here and not out there among the best because in reality you are just not. I have been thinking how Jimi Hendrix can be the best guitarist? How Michael Jackson became the King of Pop? How Tina Turner became who she is now ‘The Queen of Rock & Roll’ who had sold more concert tickets than any other solo performer in history and also the best female rock artist of all time? Linkin Park a member of 6, David Beckham the England midfielder, Eric Clapton the crack head, but yet he is still one of the best, Mark Hoppus the punkster who sang naked in public was also one of the best bassis and lots more. I came to realize that, it is all just because of a little bit of talent and luck does it all. No doubt that there are undiscovered people who are better then those mention, but it’s just that they don’t have the luck to be in center stage, to be put into the spotlight and to be discovered. Thou’ hard work is also important, but it would be useless if all the hard work is undiscovered. Jaclyn Victor was crown the best and most wanted female singer in Malaysia, but if we look back on where she come from and also the talent that she had, isn’t that luck ?! She work her ass off before she join Malaysia Idol and her voice didn’t just come the moment she join Malaysia Idol, it was there all along but it’s just that she’s not discovered by anyone back then. Like what I always say ‘We do our best, let God do the rest’. With a little of luck and plenty of hard work, the spot light will be on you!
