Radin, Syazwani n I meet again in another heart throbbing singing event. Suara sensasi @uniten.com. Playing a guitar on stage with band is so much easier compare to singing alone on stage. Everyone is basically looking at you, your every move is watched. The feeling is so much different compare to when you perform in a band. In a band, you can just hide at the back of your band member while holding your instrument and play your heart out. Singing solo is way too different. As you walk on stage, as usual, the light will blind you from seeing the audience and judges in front of you. I start by cracking a few words, pick up the microphone stand put it on center stage, signal for a GO and off I go the old school rocking way. The hall is silent, all you can hear is the sound of your music playing and in the end is the ground breaking applause. A UITM student did very well in the competition, her voice is soft and nice, chill and smooth to listen to. Her stage presentation is good. Uniten Muadzam students did well too, nothing much to complaint. Uniten Putrajaya does have their quality singers too. There is one final semester student, I can’t remember her name, her vocal is superb, she can even sing without music and still sound nice and of course you can guess, she won in her category for best vocal. Well here go my rivals ... ha-ha ...so-call rivals …. Radin and Syazwani shows a very high level of confidence when they perform, as though that they have been on stage for many years and singing on stage is a piece-of-cake for them. Radin did quite well with his stage performance but was a little bit off when he try to reach his high note but he manage to put himself into the top 8 and are qualify for finals. Syazwani is suggested to be the best in overall singing. She started out strong, good vocal, confident and solid stage performance but near the end she mess up her lyrics, that left her lost for words and dropped out during the elimination stage. This competition is really a tough one. A lot of good singers performing and challenging new levels. It’s a massive competition, which is a good and competitive one. Well, what about me? Ha-ha … sad to say, I lost in my stage performance and were dropped out from top 8. Hmm … I guess I am not a good singer after all … ha-ha … Anyway, here is the whole story on how I almost blow my head of due to the pressure from all the other participants. One after another they are getting better and better.
